The Homestead Resort

First and foremost is The Homestead Resort, which is a beautiful mountain venue located in the quaint town of Midway, Utah. It’s nestled against the breathtaking Wasatch Mountains and is the perfect place to hold your wedding. The venue includes lush green pine trees and a gazebo nestled on the water. It also features a beautiful rod iron bridge that arches over Homestead Crater with stunning views of Heber Valley. The Homestead Resort has a Garden Patio with a custom bar used for social hour as well as a white garden patio tent where a gorgeous dinner will take place. The beautiful town of Midway is perfect for couples wanting to immerse themselves in nature for their big day. The venue includes both indoor and outdoor event spaces. It has a classic barn style that fits this historic venue perfectly and makes it a great destination for your wedding day. Homestead Resort offers in-house catering and has a team that will work with you to create a customized menu. They offer linens, china, barware, flatware, china and glassware.

 

Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch

Second, This gorgeous venue is located down by Capitol Reef National Park in Boulder, Utah. Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch is an amazing little oasis. Ceremony sites include a gorgeous overlook above the lodge, the deck in front of the Siloon and some huge trees by the creek. The Ranch offers multiple, unique event spaces. The Siloon is a converted root cellar event space with local stone and beautiful woodwork. Tables can be set up for an intimate dinner space and then cleared away to enjoy the whole room as a dance floor. In addition, outside the Siloon is a large fire pit, providing an outdoor gathering space. Everything from yoga classes and concerts to talent shows and weddings have been held in this space. The Siloon includes a state-of-the-art PK system, a projector and screen, and customized lighting.

Venues At The Ranch

The Deck is a 1600 square foot flat surface with views of Sweetwater Creek and the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. It is most commonly used for yoga, meditation, dining and a dance floor. The Lounge is a bright, modern space with floor to ceiling windows. The doors of the lounge lead out to the previously mentioned Deck and can be opened to make the lounge and the deck into one large, fluid space. The Great Room is the main room in the lodge with a large sitting area, a fireplace, big sliding doors and windows giving the room plenty of sunlight. Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch has several tents ranging from a 10×10 to a 40×60 which can be setup on the great lawn or anywhere on the property for events. In addition, chairs or benches can be added to create a more or less formal look, depending on your needs. I love the convenience of not having to rent from afar.

 

Millcreek Inn

Nestled amongst the pines, mountains, streams, and wildflowers of a stunning canyon, Millcreek Inn is located just minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, three miles up Millcreek Canyon. Their outdoor wedding and event venue is surrounded by majestic mountains, cliffs, and gardens. Legacy Lodge & Alpine Meadows

Located in Park City, Legacy Lodge & Alpine Meadows provides a natural and rustic view of Crescent Ridge. Impress your guests as they begin their ride to Alpine Meadows, where you’ll host the ceremony, via a chairlift from the Park City Base Area. Once they’re at the top, a walk along a short, aspen laden path to a stunning overlook of the mountains will have everyone “ooh-ing and ahh-ing.” After exchanging vows on a gorgeous, mountain overlook, your guests will soar to the bottom of the mountain on the Alpine Slide, formal wear and all. After your magical ceremony has concluded, a wedding reception at Legacy Lodge will follow. This gorgeous, scenic ceremony location is only available from early June through mid-October.
