If you’re engaged and planning a wedding in the beautiful city of Ogden, Utah, you’re in the right place! Congrats on your engagement! I hope that this guide is helpful to you as you begin the planning process of your Ogden wedding. Ogden weddings are beautiful and when you book amazing vendors. With awesome vendors on your team, you are truly on your way to having the best day of your life. In this blog post I will highlight wedding planners that serve the Ogden area. I will also highlight venues, florists, caterers, bakeries and wedding rental shops. Let’s get to it!
To start, if you’re looking for a wedding photographer for your Ogden wedding, I would love to help you out! I know from experience how stressful it is planning a wedding, so I’ll be here every step of the way! Even if you haven’t booked your venue yet, contact me regarding my availability on your big day. Let’s get you on my calendar!
I wrote a blog post on three other wedding venues in Ogden that you’ll find helpful if you don’t feel aligned with the wedding venues mentioned in this post. Whether you’re looking to get married indoors or outside, there are Ogden wedding venues available for whatever style you’re going for. From industrial, modern indoor spaces to beautiful outdoor flower gardens, you’re sure to find a style that fits your dream. In the mentioned blog post above, I highlighted Copper Nickel Events, the Ogden Botanical Gardens and The Foundry. Copper Nickel Events features historic brick walls and industrial elegance and is located at 2450 Grant Avenue. The Ogden Botanical Gardens provides a beautiful backdrop with a gazebo and flower gardens and is located at 1750 Monroe Blvd. The Foundry is a beautiful and affordable venue located in Uintah at 2452 East 6700 South.
Another unique option for hosting your wedding reception or ceremony is The Monarch Venues which offers modern indoor and outdoor spaces. The Monarch used to be a 57,000 square foot industrial garage. It now stands as a newly renovated venue and is located at 455 25th St. Suite 301, in the heart of Ogden. With innovative policies, an artistic atmosphere and spacious floor plans, you’ll have nothing short of the perfect wedding day.
The 5th Floor has a gorgeous, transition flow that works great for large receptions or an intimate ceremony. As you enter the space, the perfect combination of industrial and modern design are immediately showcased as guests follow the wall of windows. You’ll see breathtaking views of the Wasatch front mountains. The tall ceilings, surrounding windows and skylight fill the space with natural light well into the evening. The 5th Floor is located at 2411 Kiesel Avenue, Suite 502.
Last but not least is the Grand View. This venue features a big, open floor plan with 20 foot picture windows overlooking Ben Lomond. It is located in the heart of downtown Ogden in The Junction. The vaulted ceilings and tall picture windows allow natural light to fill the space well into the evening. This creates a feeling of being outdoors with all of the comforts of being indoors.
Although the Wasatch Mountains are known for their brightly colored wildflowers during the spring and summer months, nothing complements a gorgeous wedding venue and beautiful bride quite like amazing florals. In this blog post, I’ll highlight three wedding florists that have stunning work and serve the Ogden area. Wild Flora offers 100% locally grown, sustainably designed, low-waste floral packages for clients who are interested in wedding flora inspired by the seasons. They’re only available June through September and I absolutely love the unique concept of their business. Jenevieve and Beehive work with 50 local farmers from the mountain West who supply them with the freshest, most beautiful floral for weddings and events. Add to that wild foraged seasonal texture and a few special things from their cutting garden and you’ve got one wild and beautiful wedding.
Lily and Juniper Blooms is a florist AND a farmer. The owner, Alex, uses her own flowers, as well as flowers from other local farms for her gorgeous floral arrangements. She follows the slow flowers movement and loves supporting other local flower farmers as often as possible. Alex is local to Ogden and loves servicing Ogden weddings.
Last but definitely not least is Olive & Sage Floral. The owner, Morgan, is such a sweetheart and gets her inspiration for designs from being outdoors in the mountains. In this setting, she is surrounded by spring wildflowers, dried grassy hills and the rocky and dusty Earth.

The Cupcake Shoppe & Bakery, baked from scratch, has some of the most delicious cupcakes you will ever have in the state of Utah. I can imagine that their wedding cakes taste just as good as their cupcakes, and a huge bonus is that they’re also beautiful. The Cupcake Shoppe also does free delivery service to most of the wedding venues mentioned in this post, including Copper Nickel Events, The Grand View Reception Center, and The 5th Floor. Alongside cakes, they also bake cupcakes, brownies, cookies, macarons and homemade pies. They have over 100 different varieties of their paperless cupcakes. Booking them to cater your wedding ceremony, reception or luncheon would definitely be a great idea!
Last but certainly not least on the Ogden weddings catering list is Waffle Love. From Chef’s Station to private truck booking to delivery, Waffle Love has it all. Their unique Chef Station, where their chef creates authentic mouth-watering masterpieces on site, will make your event memorable and leave your guests with a great taste in their mouths. They can set up inside or outside with this option and either plate your guests’ waffles or have a “Build Your Own” toppings bar. In conclusion, hiring awesome vendors will be one of the best investments that you can make for your big day. If you’re still looking for a wedding photographer, I would love to be there documenting all of these amazing moments. An investment into wedding photography is more important than most think. As the chaos of the big day subsides and the guests have all left, your wedding cake has been eaten, your flowers and greenery have wilted, and you’ve stored away your dress, the photographs are all that will remain for generations to come. Your story through the photographs are worth the investment. Contact me, your Utah wedding photographer and let’s chat about your details!
