If you want your wedding at a mountain resort in Utah where you have complete privacy for unmatched intimacy and time together, the Timber Moose Lodge wedding venue is your place. Timber Moose is the ultimate destination for a private mountain wedding. A few special wedding policies that you’ll want to know about is that the lodge can host wedding parties of up to 150 total daytime guests (maximum overnight guests is 58).  Weddings require a three-night minimum stay if one of the nights is a Friday or Saturday, and a two-night minimum otherwise.  The ceremony cannot be on the first night. Payment, Rental Fee & Vendors

  1. What is the rental fee, and what’s included in that price?
    • There is a lodging rate, plus an event fee of $2000-5000. This includes the rental of tables, chairs, tablecloths, decorations, AV system, and assistance of our Wedding Host the day of the ceremony.
  2. Do you accept payment plans?
    • 30% is required upfront, the remaining 70% is due 90 days before the wedding day.
  3. What’s your weather backup plan for outdoor spaces?
    • The Grand Room can seat 96 guests. The couple also has the option of doing the ceremony/reception under their giant port cochere.
  4. Can the couple hire their own vendors, or is there a preferred vendor list they need to stick to?
    • Timber Moose doesn’t offer or provide food or drink service. Couples can use whichever vendors they like. We maintain a list of vendors used and recommended by previous guests.
  5. What’s your weather backup plan for outdoor spaces?
    • Our Grand Room seats 96, and another wedding chose to do the ceremony under our giant port cochere.


Amenities For Your Timber Moose Lodge Wedding

  1. Are tables, linens, chairs, plates, silverware and glassware provided or does the couple need to rent them on their own?
    • This is all included with the event fee and lodging.
  2. Do you have an inventory of decor that can be borrowed from? 
    • Yes we do.
  3. Can things be moved around, or is everything supposed to stay as is?
    • Event areas can be re-arranged, lodging spaces cannot.
  4. Can the couple use their own candles/confetti/sparklers/food-trucks? 
    • Food trucks allowed are. Fires, candles and sparklers are prohibited.
  5. Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party?
    • Yes, 13 bedrooms are available for changing/getting ready.
  6. Do you provide heating and/or umbrellas for outdoor spaces?
    • No, we do not.
  7. Do you have a sound system and/or microphones for speeches?
    • Yes we do.


Parking & Alcohol

  1. Is there parking on site and if so, is it complimentary? If not, where will guests park?
    • On site parking accommodates 25-30 vehicles, other parking arrangements are available with a fee. 
  2. Are you licensed to provide alcohol service?
    • No, we are not.
