Trail Creek Ranch is one of the “hidden gem” wedding venues of Jackson Hole. Whenever I get the opportunity to collaborate on a Trail Creek Ranch wedding, I definitely don’t turn it down. Think horses in the corals during cocktail hour, live music on the ranch, the coziest, luxe cabins for you and your loved ones coming to celebrate, and endless green fields surrounding your celebration, making it feel very secluded. That’s precisely what Trail Creek Ranch is all about, and I love the vibes it offers. In this blog, I’ll share all about R+B’s Trail Creek Ranch wedding from this past summer and guide you through the experience and logistics of a Trail Creek Ranch wedding.
Thoughtful Planning & Seamless Coordination
How many people can your location accommodate?
We can accommodate 20 guests in our lodging. Our wedding sites can handle up to 250 guests.
Do you have an in-house caterer or a list of “preferred” caterers, or does the couple need to provide their own? If there is an in-house caterer, does the couple have the option of using an outside caterer instead?
We have a vendor list with vendors that have worked here, but we do not have any hard rule on who helps you create your vision.
Can the couple hire their own vendors, or is there a preferred vendor list they need to stick to?
Again, you can pick your vendors, but local vendors do know the lay of the land.
Included Amenities & On-Site Spaces
What is included in the rental fee?
It is site only. The Ranch provides the location for your event. The couple needs to have a planner that will coordinate vendors to supply everything else they require. This may include tents, restrooms, furniture, catering, flowers, shuttles, generators, etc.
Is the ranch a blank canvas for design, or are tables, chairs, and tabletop items provided on site?
The couple brings everything in.
Do you accept payment plans?
Yes, I am happy to work with couples to make their dreams come true!
What’s your weather backup plan for outdoor spaces?
You must have a tent. We do not have any indoor space for large groups.
Are there multiple ceremony and reception locations on the property, and how flexible is the layout when planning your day?
There are several sites to choose from. We are flexible to make the vision work.
Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party?
The bride and groom are required to be guests at the ranch for us to provide the sites. We require a buyout of accommodations for weddings over 30 guests. So, yes, they will have their cabin/room for changing/dressing areas.
Do you provide heating and/or umbrellas for outdoor spaces?
We do not. Those would be brought in usually by the wedding planner or tent company.
Design Considerations & Guest Experience
Can the couple use their own candles/confetti/sparklers/food-trucks?
We prefer no candles or open flames and no confetti unless it’s flower petals, seed, something that the land can absorb. Food trucks are fine.
Do you have a sound system and/or microphones for speeches?
We do not. For larger weddings, a generator needs to be brought in for power to the tent, sound and restrooms.
Is there parking on site, and if so, is it complimentary? If not, where will guests park?
Weddings with over 20 guests must use transportation to bring their guests to the Ranch. There is free parking for those who stay here only.
Are you licensed to provide alcohol service?
No. Alcohol may be brought in by the couple or caterer/bar service.

Your Trail Creek Ranch Wedding Photographer
A wedding at Trail Creek Ranch is less about rules and more about rhythm—the way the light moves across the land, how the day unfolds without rush, and the freedom to create something that feels entirely your own. When couples choose a setting like this, they’re choosing intention, space, and an experience rooted in place. It’s in these unhurried moments — the quiet before the ceremony, the wind in the grass, the wide open Wyoming sky — that your story is best preserved. Approached with care and photographed with an eye for honesty and light, a Trail Creek Ranch wedding becomes timeless, personal, and deeply felt long after the day has passed.
