Moulton Barn weddings are some of my favorites in Grand Teton National Park. With such an iconic view of the Tetons and some fun, historic buildings, you can’t go wrong. If you’re considering a Moulton Barn wedding, as with any Grand Teton National Park elopement, you’ll need to apply for and receive a permit. I have a blog post full of tips and tricks for how to go about getting a permit for your ceremony in the park. I promise it’s not as hard as you think! In this blog post, I talk all about the seasons in Grand Teton National Park and how to find the best time of year to have your ceremony.
Needless to say, I have an endless amount of resources available on my blog dedicated to helping you plan your Grand Teton National Park wedding. However, I still recommend hiring a local wedding planner. Here is a blog post all about my favorite local Jackson Hole wedding planners. As you probably know (or maybe you don’t) the weather in Wyoming is extremely unpredictable. There is a chance of snow almost every month out of the year, so hiring a wedding planner is essential to a successful wedding in Jackson. Being married myself, I understand the amount of time and energy that goes into wedding planning. I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing it all yourself!
Many of my couples are planning to have their ceremony at a private ranch or venue in or around Jackson. However, they still want the iconic photos of the Tetons that you can get at Moulton Barn. Essentially, what they want is the Moulton Barn wedding without having a Moulton Barn wedding. It’s always a favorite stop for portraits and candid shots. There are many times throughout the year when the Tetons are covered by clouds. Even so, you still get gorgeous views of wide open spaces, which I love. Throughout all the seasons, here are some of my favorite photos I’ve had the opportunity of taking at this gorgeous location.
