What To Expect For Your Moulton Barn Wedding

Any chance that I get to photograph a Moulton Barn wedding, I take! I love this location. It’s super easy to get to and the view of the Tetons is freaking amazing. This specific intimate wedding took place mid-October and the weather was GORGEOUS. We don’t always get this lucky in Wyoming (especially in the Tetons) to get such gorgeous fall weather, but this specific fall was a total exception. Nikki and Britt came all the way from Louisiana for their big day, and it was nothing short of an incredible day. This wedding took place on a Wednesday and it reminded me of how much I LOVE mid-week weddings. There were hardly any people present during the wedding and it was so peaceful and beautiful.

Nikki + Britt’s Story

After every wedding, I love asking the couple more about the personal details of their love story and the details that went into planning their big day. These are only a few of the questions I asked Nikki and Britt and I loved reading more about their story. It’s intimate, tragic, magical, hard and beautiful.

    • Britt & I have known each other since elementary school. We grew up a few miles from each other. We played little league together. We went to the same high school. We were friends long before we fell in love.
    • I left one evening to go to the grocery store. When I got back, Britt had our 3 year old son, Hollis, sitting in his small rocking chair with a “Mommy, Will you marry my Daddy?” shirt. Hollis kept saying, “here’s your present, mommy!” until I walked over and finally got it.
    • Prior to planning, I envisioned a full-blown Southern Belle plantation wedding. However, I lost my younger brother in September 2021 tragically. It changed everything. Britt had lost his youngest brother tragically 7 years prior. Trey’s (my little brother) death made us realize we wanted our moment to be intimate because some of our most important parts wouldn’t be with us, and that was too hard of a pill to swallow.
    • My favorite moment was hearing Britt say the vows. To hear the man you love profess his love for you is unmatched!
    • My wedding day was simplistic, intimate and overall perfection. We had both sets of our parents with us and our 3 year old. We spent the morning getting ready all together. We spent the evening celebrating. It was truly all about us becoming one and I couldn’t have imagined a better day.
  • DO YOU!!!! Whether that means a big wedding or just you and him, do whatever you want! Our intimate destination wedding was exactly what our love needed.

Incredible, right?! Being a small piece of their lives as their wedding photographer made me so happy. Here’s what Nikki and Britt had to say about me as their Jackson Hole wedding photographer. “Adrian was amazing! We felt so comfortable the entire time. She worked so well with my 3-year-old and was so patient. The final product of our photos were more than we could have ever imagined! I would fly her out to Louisiana for all my picture needs if I could!” K my clients are the best.

The Vendors For This Moulton Barn Wedding

I got to work with the best vendors for this wedding. After all, every wedding day is a team effort! These photographs would be nothing without the talented team behind it all. I personally have a lot of couples ask me for vendor recs because they’re not local to the area, so here are a couple that I loved working with on this wedding. I’m so lucky to have been able to work with Tiffany Garcia from Elope Jackson. She made this day run SEAMLESSLY and is such a gem of a human. The officiant was Melissa Croswhite from Timberline Weddings, who also did a fabulous job! The gorgeous florals was done by Jackson Hole Flower Boutique.
