If you’re looking for a venue with a stunning view of the Tetons, Jenny Lake Lodge is such a great option. Disclaimer: no weddings are actually held at Jenny Lake Lodge. All weddings are held at Jackson Lake Lodge. I wrote an in-depth blog post about weddings at Jackson Lake Lodge, so check that out here. The lodge opens for the season near the beginning of June each year. Whether you want a western-chic vibe or an intimate, luxurious mountain wedding in Grand Teton National Park, you can’t go wrong booking a Jenny Lake Lodge wedding. If you’re wanting to elope, I wrote a blog post all about eloping in Jackson Hole, where I talk about permits, the best time of year to get married, vendors, locations and more!! I would love nothing more than to be your photographer, whatever you decide to do on your wedding day. Fill out this form and let’s get your date on my calendar.
With several lodging options available at Jackson Lake Lodge, Colter Bay Village, and Jenny Lake Lodge, finding accommodations for your guests in proximity to all of your wedding events will be a breeze. As mentioned, Jackson Lake Lodge offers stunning views of the Grand Teton mountain range from the Southwest Terrace. Here, your wedding ceremony will take place surrounded by family and friends. Unlike other locations in the park, the upper lobby of Jackson Lake Lodge is also available as a back-up location in the case of inclement weather.
When it comes to the reception, one of the most sought after locations is the Explorers Ballroom. If you have 50 guests or more, this is a great location to host a dinner/flowing reception. The Ballroom features Western elegance with elk-antler chandeliers and doors that open to a Sunset Terrace with the most beautiful mountain view. The Ballroom also includes a dance floor.
For smaller, micro weddings looking for an intimate dinner, the East Mural Room is a semi-private reception room with a stunning mountain view and beautiful murals painted by Carl Roters. Non-mountain view banquet rooms are also available for smaller parties on a more economical budget.
With a staff of culinary specialists, a rehearsal dinner or an intimate wedding breakfast can be arranged as well!!
If you are looking for pricing, there is a wide variety of options. The best way to discuss those would be contact Grand Teton Lodge Company directly at 307-543-3005 or email GTLCSales@vailresorts.com.
Room rental fees include service staff, tables, chairs, linens, china, flatware and basic setup. The total cost of your wedding reception is based on your menu selections. Events can range from a simple cocktail reception to an elegant served four-course dinner, depending on your taste and budget.
Sales tax, currently at 6%, as well as a 20% service charge are in addition to the rental fee and food & beverage minimums. Should your food & beverage total not meet your contracted minimum, the difference, after adjusting for allowable attrition as contracted, will be added to your final bill.
All guests entering Grand Teton National Park are charged an entrance fee, currently $35 per vehicle. This money is collected by the National Park Service and Grand Teton Lodge Company has no authority to waive or adjust these fees. Fees are subject to increase at the discretion of the National Park Service.
The Explorers Ballroom is a private event room and can accommodate 50 to 250 guests. The room features elk antler chandeliers, hardwood dance floor and exclusive use of the adjoining Sunset Terrace with unsurpassed Teton Mountain views.
The East Mural Room is tucked away in a quiet corner of their fine dining restaurant. It offers semi-private dining with breathtaking views of the Teton mountain range, and can hold up to 100 guests. This space features eight-foot high rosewood and walnut panels with Trapper murals that were commissioned by John D. Rockefeller Jr. and painted by artist Carl Rotors. It’s important to note that some setup and entertainment restrictions apply to this event location. If your group size is less than 40, non-exclusive reservations can be made in The East Mural Room for your dinner reception. Other guests may be seated at other tables in The East Mural Room, and your rental fee will be waived.
The Trappers Room is ideal for more intimate groups of up to 50. Reception guests will enjoy this private event room with exclusive use of the adjoining Sunset Terrace with stunning mountain views.
The Southwest Terrace is their outdoor ceremony space. White folding chairs and breathtaking panoramic Teton views await you and your guests. This area is open to the public, however, hotel guests are typically respectful of wedding ceremonies. Weather can be a concern for outdoor events in the area at any time of the year. A back-up location is always assigned in the main lodge. The Jenny Lake Lodge wedding team will assess current conditions and consult you on a final weather call one hour prior to your ceremony, while you relax in the comfort of your changing room.
Based on availability, we will reserve a changing room at no additional charge for the bridal party when a wedding package is purchased. Arrangements can also be made for light food and beverage service.
The wedding cake and all food and beverage served for the wedding reception must be provided through Jackson Lake Lodge. You can choose from three elegant cake designs, or work with their vendor to create a special cake that reflects your style and taste at an additional cost. Any additional charges will count towards your minimum food & beverage requirement.
A certified professional day-of wedding planner is required for all weddings renting reception space at the Lodge. Their Conference Service Manager can provide references for wedding planners that are familiar with Jackson Lake Lodge. Day-of wedding coordination should include a customized wedding itinerary, ceremony and procession organization, managing arrival and setup of vendors, and the timing of key reception events including the bridal party entrance, toast, first dance and cake cutting. In addition to your day-of planner, the Conference Service Manager will assist you with menu planning, room layout, audio-visual needs, and basic timing of reception events. We can also provide a list of preferred vendors for officiants, entertainment, flowers, photographers, beauty services, and ground transportation. On the day of the event, their staff will ensure that the room setup requirements are to your specifications, as outlined on the approved Banquet Event Order.
