If you’re looking for the most scenic high alpine destination in the Tetons to celebrate your love on your wedding day, look no further than the beautiful Grand Targhee Resort wedding venue. From ceremony and reception sites to fine western cuisine, you and your guests will never forget the beauty that will surround you on your wedding day. If you’re still looking for a photographer for your big day, fill out this form! I also have very limited availability for this upcoming year, so don’t wait! I want to be a guide and resource for you as you navigate the planning process, so let’s get to the questions and answers about your Grand Targhee Resort wedding. Before we get started, it is important for you to know that wedding services are offered at Grand Targhee Resort in the summer only.

All prices are for a guest count of 50-200 guests.
Our wedding site fee includes the following services:
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be officiated in the Wedding Reception Pavilion. Since it is already decorated and nestled in a beautiful meadow, it makes a gorgeous setting for the ceremony.

All dining ware and furnishings are included in the site fee.
We have romantic mountain rustic decor the couple is always welcome to use and is included in the site fee. We strongly recommend to make use of our decor so that the couple has more time to enjoy with their friends and family.
We can make some adjustments to our floor plan based on the couple’s needs. For the most part, we have a set-up that everyone loves and works really well with the flow of the evening.
We strongly encourage the use of electric tea lights and fairy lights. Fire safety is a very serious concern as our resort is located in a national forest. However, with approval from our event manager, the couple may provide candles and other decor. Unfortunately, food trucks or any outside food vendors are not allowed at this time.
The Teewinot conference room and bridal room are dedicated spaces for the bridal party to get ready and included in the site fee.
We provide heaters for the outdoor spaces. Umbrellas have been unnecessary thanks to the shade of the many groves of trees.
We have a sound system and microphone available for a small fee.

Guest parking is complimentary and on the main lot close to the Targhee Plaza and all accommodations.
Grand Targhee provides full catering and bar services, outside catering and beverages are not permitted. Our food & beverage minimum of $80/person++ is very attainable, and we are happy to work with your favorite food and dietary requests. If you cannot find what you are looking for in our current menu offer, we may discuss your personal catering needs.
Our in-house executive chef, Eric Gruber, will provide well-designed menu options for the couple to taste. All food and beverage, except for the cake, must be sourced through Grand Targhee Resort.
The couple may use our recommended list of vendors, but we are always happy to welcome new ones with the Events Manager’s pre-approval.
A morning after brunch is a great way to keep the celebration going and say goodbye before guests head back home. Our brunches are usually casual, giving guests a time range to stop by (i.e.: 8:30am to 10:30am). Guests can show up once they’re ready to depart to enjoy something to eat before they leave. This gives you a few more hours surrounded by those closest to you. We may customize the menu to fit your needs. Let’s discuss what you two have in mind.
June is great for snowcapped peaks. July and August are ideal for wildflowers. September provides fall colors. In case of inclement weather, there is always the option of a “delay of game”. Mountain weather tends to move quickly, and there is the option to delay the ceremony while weather passes. If it is decided to move the ceremony location, we offer the Aspen Meadow Pavilion, as it would already be decorated for the reception.
Lift tickets included in the package are for the couple and the bridal party (up to 20). If you would like to purchase additional tickets for the group, we provide discounted group rates. Going to the summit for photographs will be added to your timeline and coordinated with the event manager and your photographer.
We recommend budgeting two drinks per person, knowing that some guest will drink less than others. We charge beverages based on consumption and we offer multiple bar tiers (well, middle, and top shelf). Bar payments can be planned however you prefer, cash vs. open, beer vs. wine, etc.
The Aspen Meadow Pavilion tent flaps open with two main entrances. The main entrance is on the West side near the fire pit and bar, while the second is on the North side (service entrance). All the tied flaps on the sides of the tent can be opened upon request. Nights in the mountains can be chilly, therefore we provide heating for the evenings if needed. As your event draws closer, we may discuss your needs based on weather predictions.
